How fiduciaries may allocate fiduciary responsibility

Named fiduciaries who allocate fiduciary responsibilities among themselves in accordance with a procedure set forth in the plan will not be liable for acts of other fiduciaries carrying out such allocated responsibilities except for co-fiduciary liability and liability regarding standards for establishment and implementation of allocation procedures. If an investment manager has been appointed, a trustee escapes fiduciary liability for acts or omissions of the investment manager.
